Praise him for mothers and fathers,

For sisters, brothers, and others.

For dogs and cats and even muskrats.

For happy days, sad days, and days in between.

For sickness and health.

For winter and spring.

For faces of Eve, pain, and reprieve.

Crucified, nailed on the cross.

Life, death, life.
